Briarcliff Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley in McAllen, Texas just sixty miles west of beautiful South Padre Island. We border our sister country of Mexico located fifteen minutes from our facility. We also enjoy the world birding corridor in South Texas where you will enjoy warm weather year around. Briarcliff offers 24 hour nursing care to recently health compromised individuals as well as for those seeking long term care.
Short-term Services -
For those individuals seeking short term medical and/or rehabilitative services we focus our efforts closely with you and your family on achieving the most successful functional outcomes so that you can return home as quickly as possible. A dedicated team of healthcare professionals, will develop an individualized care plan that is designed to address your specific needs. Supporting the nursing team is a group of licensed therapists that provide physical, occupational and speech therapies. For those individuals recovering from major surgery, stroke, neurological and orthopedic conditions and other injuries we offer our Express Recovery Unit (ERU). This is a dedicated 30 bed unit with state of the art furnished rooms designed exclusively for patients whose primary goal is to return home as quickly as possible. Located within the ERU, is a well equipped rehabilitative gymnasium.

Long-term Care Services -
Our long term care units are designed for individuals who need 24-hour nursing care and chronically ill, frail or experiencing a very slow recovery from an illness or injury. The private and semi-private room accommodations include basic room furnishing that you can customize so that you may achieve a more home-like atmosphere. Comfortable common areas are accessible for your social needs.
